He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Boone Hoy and Aurilla Donaldson Hoy; his wife Jean Ann Taylor Hoy; his siblings, Charlie Hoy, Bob Hoy, John Hoy, Eilene Barnes, Mary Jane Scarborough and Carol Bechtel; and his grandson Zachary Tyler Garland.
He is survived by: his daughters, Samantha Walker (Calvin) of Franklin, OH and Ann Trebolo (Adam) of Richmond, KY; his siblings, Harry Hoy and June Barnhart; and his grandchild Ashley Burggraf (Daniel).
