She was predeceased by: her parents, John Horney and Lillian Horney. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Kopacz; her children, Jenny Linkenheld (Dave) and Jamie Kopacz (Joy); her grandchildren, Kayelene Card (Daniel), Alexander Linkenheld, Nathaniel and Annika Kopacz; her great grandchildren, Harrison and Lillian Card; her sister Audrey Movrich (Ron); and her sister-in-law Clare Horneij (Mel).
