He was predeceased by: his father Sammy Vaughn; and his wife Lana Freeman Vaughn. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Jean Lear Mullins (Yral); his son Samuel Edward Vaughn; his grandchildren, Dakota and Samantha; and his sister Linda Vaughn Turner (Rex). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
