He was predeceased by: his parents, John Elwood and Ida Mae Pelfrey Napier; his stepmother Ruby Napier; and his sisters, Sandra Abner and Patty Hatton.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Sue Nolan Napier; his daughters, Deana Napier Woods and Lindsay Shea Day (Michael); his grandchildren, Olivia Shea Woods, Aubrie Mae Woods and Michael Austin Day; his brothers, Gary Napier (Ruby), Randy Napier (Becky) and Sidney Pendleton; and his brother-in-law Clyde Abner. He is also survived by other extended family and friends.
