He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Coleman and Edna Estes Hunter. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Shelton Hunter; his sons, Ronald S. Hunter (Stephanie) and Charles Hunter (Lisa) of Richmond; his brother-in-law Bobby Shelton; and his grandchildren, Lakelyn, Trenton, Liliana, Grace and David. He is also survived by numerous family members and many friends.
