He was predeceased by: his parents, James Portwood and Jean Hammons Portwood; and his siblings, James and Betty. He is survived by: his son Aaron Portwood (Labriska) of Berea; his stepsons, Sean Buckler (Breanna) and Matt Buckler of Richmond; his brothers, Eugene Portwood (Tina) of Lexington, David Portwood of Lexington and Robbie Portwood (Leigh) of Richmond; and his grandchild Kinley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
