It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Spafford of Richmond, Kentucky, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on May 28, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Spafford and Mona Spafford; and his sister Barb Paxton. He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his daughters, Pamela Thompson (Cory), Nicki Holian (Chris), Tracey Spafford and Denise Strong (Joe); and his grandchildren, Wesley Taylor, Raevyn Taylor, Nadiya Taylor, Jacob Holian, Emily Holian, Nolan Strong, Cameron Baxter and Blake Baxter.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Miami University Fund directed to the Scholarship for International Studies in Memory of Pat Ruggles in Bob Spafford's name done online or through the mail.
