He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Johns and Iva Lee Kelley Johns; and his siblings, Kenny Johns, James Johns, Helen Ray, Mason Foster, Bud Johns and Norman Johns.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Samples of Richmond; his grandsons, Eric Samples (Savannah) and Steven Johns; his great grandchildren, Abby Johns, Jaxson Johns, Wesley Johns, Kylee Samples, Sawyer Samples, Judah Samples and Addie Samples; his sisters, Wilma Young and Linda Rose; and his niece Vickie Young. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews; and many friends.
