He was predeceased by: his parents, George Smart and Ruby Smart (Cooper); and his siblings, Oliver and Charlotte Perdue. He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Penn (Miles Tolen) and Ashley Tabb (Matthew); his grandchildren, Hunter Penn, Taylor Penn, Coleson Penn, Courtney Tabb and Caroline Tabb; his siblings, Bob Smart and Linda Linville; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Baugh and Billy Ray Hunter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
