He was predeceased by: his wife Verda Margene "Genie" Hatch Jett; his son Stephen Wheeler Jett; and his sister Emily Ellen. He is survived by: his children, Neal Ottinger Jettpace (Lynn) and Lucy Jett Waterbury (Ethan); his grandchildren, Wiley Jettpace (Katie), Alden Jettpace, Wyatt Waterbury and Ainsley Waterbury; his sisters, Sally Davis (Dick) and SueAnn Reeves; his nieces and nephews, Amy Reeves DeBord, Paul Reeves, Kevin Smathers, David Smathers, Daniel Smathers, Julie Hatch Myers, Betty Hatch Gillett, Deborah Hatch Conkwright, Kenneth Hatch, Kerry Hatch Bossenbroek and Michael Hatch; his friend Ron Peters of Illinois; and also Paul.
