She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Larry Palmisano; her sons, John, Tim and Steve; her parents, James Hogsett and Alice Hogsett; her grandchildren, Julian, Katie, Anna, McKenzie, Noah, Jaret and Kody; her close friends, Taylor, Trent, Colin, Shawn, Natalia, Ari and Julie; her great grandchildren, Logan, Liam and Karsten; and her children-in-law, Ricka, Sue and Matt.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to organizations that were important to Pam: Hospice of the Bluegrass, University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center, or Lexington Humane Society.

“I met Pam through the Madison Dulcimer group(s). 🎶 She was warm, welcoming, and always had a smile. We went many times to visit to a dear dulcimer friend who now resides in a retirement home in Richmond; she always brought a gift and sweet caring words to offer. A wonderful friend. She was a thoughtful, kind, tender soul and will be deeply missed. Sincere condolences to her family and to all who knew her. Rest in peace, dearest Pam. In music and friendship, Susan Haik”
