He was predeceased by: his parents, Shelby Lakes and Adeline Lakes; and his siblings, Alan Lakes and Janet Lakes Hiatt. He is survived by: his wife Alice Faye Gentry Lakes; his children, Lynnett Lakes Renner (Roger) and Andrea Lakes Delaney (Steve); his grandchildren, Morgan, Clinton Fortney (Carrie), Brody, Skye, Harley Delaney and Matthew Renner (Crystal); and his great grandchildren, Autumn Bradley, Harlynn, Jackson Renner and William Fortney. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home (1110 Barnes Mill Rd, Richmond, KY 40475). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
