He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Ellen Rainy Rose; and his siblings, Troy Rose, Irene Newton, Annalee Hendren and Joetta Prewitt.

He is survived by: his son Bryan Rose (Karen) of Taylorsville, Georgia; his grandchildren, Skyler Rose (Aisling) and Gavin Rose; his great grandchildren, Brexley Rose and Torren Rose; his brother Dan Rose (Barbara); and his sister-in-law Betty Rose. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
