He is survived by: his wife Laura Underwood Hollon of Richmond, Kentucky; his daughters, Holly Sallee of Berea and Jessica Bowes (Josh) of West Liberty, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Joseph "Joe Joe" Sallee, Kammi Sallee, Melody Morton and Samuel Munster; and his sisters, Mary Highley of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky and Irene Hollon of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
