With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nelson Lowery of Richmond, Kentucky, who passed away on December 20, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenzie Lowery and Claria Lowery; his son Stephen Ray Lowery; and his siblings, Kimball, Eldon, Houston Lowery, Zelma Short and Lorraine Pearson.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Louise Revel Lowery; his daughter Carolyn Lear (Justin); his grandchildren, Justina Powell (JR), Aaron Lear (Larry), Matthew Lowery (Heather), Benjamin Lowery and Jeremiah Lowery (Gaby); his great grandchildren, Lexi Powell, Ally Powell, Kymberlee Lear, Jaxson Lear, Violette Rae Lowery and Matilda Rae Lowery; his sister Mabel Lowery; and his in-laws, Ora, Mary Mullins and Betty Harrison. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
