He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Orenear Marcum Smith; his wife Brenda Joyce Richardson Smith; his daughter Rhonda Michelle Roark; and his brothers, Carl Bee Smith and Mason Lee Smith.
He is survived by: his grandson Corey Roark (Kimberly); and his sister Virginia Faye Pearson. He is also survived by other extended family and many friends.
