He was predeceased by: his parents, Theron Holstein and Virgie Mills Holstein; his brother Jim Holstein; and his grandson R. J. Smith. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Holstein of Richmond; his children, Michelle Holstein of Richmond and Jeff Holstein (Angel) of Richmond; his grandchildren, Claudia Holland (Austin), Billy West, Joshua Holstein, Jason Holstein and Jozelyn Smith; his great grandchild Cecilia Holland; his nephew James Holstein; his uncle Bob Buchanan; and his cousin Betty Green.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of the Knox Funeral Home (325 Knox St, Barbourville, KY 40906).
