He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Lewis Meadows and Meekie Elizabeth Messer Meadows; and his siblings, John Scott Meadows, Thomas Meadows and Sarah Ann Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Gayle Brendle Meadows of Richmond; his son Michael Baxter Meadows of Richmond; and his siblings, Theodore Meadows of North Carolina, Virgil Lee Meadows of North Carolina and Georgia Woody of North Carolina. He is also survived by two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
