He is survived by: his wife Jane Richardson Smyth; his children, Jennifer Robinson (Barry) of Lexington and Alan Smyth of Richmond; his brother William Smyth (Brenda) of Monroe, OH; his grandchildren, Dylan Smyth of Lexington, Zachary Dickerson of Richmond, Brooklyn Smyth of Bloomington, IL, Katelyn Smyth of Berea, Jadelyn Smyth of Richmond and Trey Smyth of Richmond; and his great grandchildren, Oliver Baudendistel, Sylas Adams, Asher Short and Willow Bee Schlosser.
