He was predeceased by: his parents, Asa Keene and Shirley Jones Keene; his wife Emilee; and his siblings, Blanche, Warren, Gordon and Bernard.
He is survived by: his brother Lowell Keene (Fern Coleman) of Elizebethtown, Kentucky; his children, Kevin (Teresa Colley) of Richmond, Kentucky and Jamie (Tressa Lusk) of St. Petersburg, Florida; his grandchildren, Tyler (Priscilla Whitcomb) of Richmond, Kentucky and Maylee; and his great grandchildren, Kai, Job and Ele of Richmond, Kentucky..
