She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas "Tommy" Carpenter and Edna Higgins Carpenter; her husband Alfred "Al" Ballinger; her son-in-law David Ballard; and her siblings, Lowell Carpenter, Carol Lamb, James Carpenter and Mary.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa Ballard and Scott Ballinger (Angela); her grandsons, Ryan Ballard, Logan Ballard and Hayden Ballinger; her siblings, Alfred (Audrey), Ralph (Shirley), Wayne (Debbie), Kenny (Carolyn), Jeff (Teresa), Janet and Billy Carpenter; and her close friend Chloe.
