She was predeceased by: her parents, John Smith and Lillie Moore Smith; her husband William R. Payne; her daughter Phyllis; her son-in-law Park Mason; and her siblings, Raleigh Smith, Louella Smith, Clayton Smith, John Earl Smith, Henry Smith, Dora Cox and Reva Malicote.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Kidd (Earnest) of Paint Lick; her grandchildren, Joey Mason (Crystal), David Mason (Jill), Becky Mason, Jennifer Kidd-Eversole (David), Tony Kidd (Danica), Bryan Birdkidd (Austin), Chris Kidd, Austin Kidd (Kodi), Cheyenne, Bri, Tyrone, Molly, Jordyn and Malayna Kidd; and her sister-in-law Merlene Smith. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
