He is survived by: his children, Marvin Smith III of Richmond, Bruce Smith (Liping) of Painted Post and Heather Blackburn of Crab Orchard; his siblings, Brian Smith (Pamela), Coral Patterson and Pam Romano (Tony); his grandchildren, Jocelyn Sergent, Ethan Smith, Emelia Smith and Silver Blackburn; his nephews, Brian (Melissa) and Rodney Smith (Laudine); his niece Rebecca Smith; and his close friend Jerry Martin.
