She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger W. Barbour and Bernice "Bundy" Lewis Barbour. She is survived by: her husband Edward Carroll Hale, II of Richmond; her children, Edward Carroll Hale III (Jules) of Roanoke, VA, Michael Joseph Hale (Kimberly) of Richmond, Patrick Roger Hale of Richmond, Cecilia Anne Wanchic (John) of Bloomington, IN, Marsha Bernice Fight (Zack) of Dawson Springs, KY and Laura Lyons (Tim) of Lexington; and her brothers, William "Bill" Barbour of Lexington and James Lewis Barbour (JoAnn). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Right to Life or Catholic Relief Services.
