She was predeceased by: her husband Charles "Chuck" Putteet; her parents, Robert G. Estes and Mary Sparks Estes; and her siblings, Ezekiel Estes, Glen Ray Estes, Mabel Newton, Tina Smelko, Glendeen Mitchell, Candace Moore, Yumonda McIntosh and Margaret Morris.
She is survived by: her children, Steven C. Putteet, Tina M. Murphy and Terry L. Clark (Ernest); her grandson Brandon L. C. Putteet; and her siblings, Delco Estes and Aggie Wells. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
