It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Land of Richmond, Kentucky, born in Heidelberg, Kentucky, who passed away on February 2, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Jesse Land, Sr.; her parents, Arvel David and Irma Lee Burke Goosey; and her sisters, Iva Dean Wilson and Sue Cornett.
She is survived by: her sons, Jesse Land II (Paula) of Beattyville, Kentucky and David Land of Beattyville, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Robie S. Land (Betsy) of Lexington, Tommy S. Land (Carolyn) of Lexington, Casey S. Bales (Cody) of Lexington, Emily R. Gross (Jeff) of Beattyville, Kentucky, Natalie T. Lainhart (Levi) of Beattyville, Kentucky and Hallie Land of Beattyville, Kentucky; her great grandchildren, Julia, Belle, Liberty, Leland Blue, David Henry and Colton James; and her sister Marion Gill of Seymour, Indiana. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, Kentucky.
