He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Chenault and Ruby Etta Pinkston; his wife Norma Chenault; and his brothers, Joe Lewis Chenault, Albert Chenault Jr. and William Bell Chenault.
He is survived by: his sisters, Nancy Rhodes (William), Vinnie Etta Denning and Dorothy Ann Johnson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
