She was predeceased by: her parents, Crit Eldridge and Susie Caudill Eldridge. She is survived by: her children, Donnie Newman (Jennifer) of Richmond, Kentucky, Steve Newman (Awndrea) of Richmond, Kentucky, Jim Newman (Sheila) of Richmond, Kentucky and Melissa Ballinger (Tobey) of Richmond, Kentucky. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
