He was predeceased by: his parents, Garley Sr. Conner and Sally Curry Conner; and his siblings, Mary Elizabeth Wall, Joe Conner, Ernest Conner, Kale Conner, Raymond Conner and William "Bill" Conner (Garley Jr. "Slick" Conner).
He is survived by: his wife Faye Shockley Conner; his daughters, Judy Cochran (Charles) and Doris Howell (Greg); his grandchildren, Logan Cochran, Chris Cochran (Andrea), Brandi Baugh (John), Andrew McAfee and Katelyn Staggs (Bryan); and his sister Macie Eades. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
