He is survived by: his parents, Lawrence Clayton and Rose Lee Brumfield Ferris; his wife Carole Elizabeth Palmer Ferris; his children, Mike Ferris (Heather) and Michele Allen (Jack) of Richmond; his brother Bruce Ferris (Kathy); his grandchildren, Justin Ferris, Jacob Ferris, Hanna Allen and Brooke Allen; his brother Jim Ferris (Kay); and his friends, Henry and Connie Bach. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews, six great-nieces and nephews; his cousin.
