He was predeceased by: his parents, Dillard Tate and Rhoda Peters Tate; his son Chad Tate; and his siblings, Doug Tate, Barbara Story and Paula McHargue.
He is survived by: his wife Danella Sasser; his daughter-in-law Mary Carole Tate; his sister Carol Tipton; his brothers-in-law, Butch Tipton and Richard McHargue; his nephew Mike Story (Wilma); and his nieces, Tammy Alexander, Marsha Tharpe (John), Wendy Stephenson (John) and Alison Fox (Dwayne).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eastside Community Church (2010 Catalpa Loop, Richmond, KY 40475). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
