She was predeceased by: her parents, Alson Lakes and Virgie Lutes Lakes; and her brother Harry Lakes. She is survived by: her spouse Thomas Marion Benson; her children, Michael Shannon Benson and Gina Michelle Benson; her grandchildren, Kari Frye Lingafelter (Blake) and Brandon Benson-Henry; her great grandchildren, Dakota Spanke and Dylan Allen; and her brother Dales Lakes. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home (328 W Main St, Richmond, KY 40475). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
