He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie B. Grant and Marie Noland Grant; and his son-in-law Bobby Conner. He is survived by: his wife Mollie Jewel Hicks Grant of Richmond; his children, Robert Grant (Regina) of Richmond, Matthew Grant of Richmond and Jewell Conner of Richmond; his siblings, Willie B. Grant (Tammy) of Berea, Robert Allen of Richmond and Shirley Allen of Nashville, TN; and his grandchildren, Alexandria Carpenter, Jacob Grant (McKenzie), Cassandria Carpenter, Lucas Grant, Isabel Grant, Breeandria Conner, Matthew Grant II and Tommy-Jo Conner.
