He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hale Perkins; his children, John Scott Perkins (Michelle), Rebecca Perkins, Cristy Allen, Amber Kite and Marybeth Engle; his sister Martha Perkins Spillman (Lonnie Dean); and his nephew Steven Spillman (Lynne). He is also survived by several grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
