He is survived by: his parents, Charles Van Winkle of Richmond and Sandra Nantz Van Winkle of Richmond; his son Preston Van Winkle; his sisters, Michele Van Winkle and Rene Meadows; his nieces and nephews, Samuel Shearer (Brooklyn), Brenden Kirby, Sophia Sanchez (Hector) and Brittany Tingle; and his great-nephews, Axeton Sawyer and Maverick Shearer. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
