With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Owens of Richmond, Kentucky, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on March 17, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Owens and Jessie Owens; and his brother Jimmy. He is survived by: his wife Kim Gulley Owens; his daughters, Julie Grigsby (Chris) and Cheryl Spivey (Mike); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Tanner and Anna Brooke Dunaway; his siblings-in-law, Earl and Nancy Gulley; and his granddaughter Brooke Wasson. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Dominion Senior Living, Life Enrichment, 200 Meridian Way, Richmond, KY 40475, in order that they may continue to enrich the lives of others in the last season of their adventure.
