She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Richards (Walters) and Martin Richards; her husband William Rutledge; her daughters, Janice Hendricks (Wayne), Tamela Gay (Gregory) and Jennifer Inman (Kip); her grandchildren, Crystal Estes, Ashley Estes and Gina Thomas; and her sister Joanne Allen (Carvel).

She is survived by: her brother Ronald Richards (Linda); her grandchildren, Jenny Sargent (Dennis), Christy Didion, Amy Burrus (Ronald), Jeremy Hendricks, Amanda Moore (Clint), Dottie Haney-Watts (Wes), Sara Rose (Foster), Kelby Congleton, Alex Inman and Nick Inman; and her nephew Rick Allen. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews and other extended family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests patrons to visit the Kentucky River Museum when it opens this summer.
