It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Sims Metcalf (Richmond, Kentucky), born in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, who passed away on January 4, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Shelton Sims and Nellie Jefferson Sims; her husband Charles L. Metcalf; her son Joseph Scott Metcalf; and her brother Lewis Marion Sims.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Ann Farmer (Rex), Charles Mark Metcalf (Myra) and Susan Jean Wheeler; and her grandchildren, Lauren Cody Wheeler Martin (Zach) and Cassidy Morgan Wheeler.
