He was predeceased by: his parents, Conley Wyrick and Lillie Wyrick; and his siblings, David Wyrick, Russell Wyrick, Geralee Wyrick and Barbara Gay.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Krista Althauser (Scott), Kelly Brumfield (Kogan) and James Wyrick, Jr.; his grandchildren, Meghan Watts (Cory), Bradley Althauser (MacKenzie), Katlyn Brumfield, Kimberly Brumfield and James "Cube" Carl Wyrick, III; his great grandchild Elizabeth Bush; his siblings, Dorsey Wyrick of Richmond, KY, Randall Wyrick of Nashville, TN, Gordon (Zandra), Jeffrey Wyrick (Jackie) and Janice McGeorge of Milford, OH; and his sister-in-law Linda Wyrick (Jim) of Tyner, KY. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
