He is survived by: his wife Gloria McGuire; his children, Teresa Knight, James Russel McGuire II and John Robert McGuire; his grandchildren, Sydney Autumn Knight, Crea Austin Knight, Gavin Bryce Knight, Connor Gail McGuire, Kevin Lucas McGuire, Taegan McGuire and Taryn Rae McGuire; his brother Donald McGuire (Ann); and his siblings-in-law, Candy Lewis, Brenda Norris (Ronnie) and Emerson Williams (Ann).
