He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Sr. Whicker and Lula James Whicker; and his sisters, Frances Carol Cain and Emma Chyrell Whicker Lakes. He is survived by: his wife Faye Whicker; his daughter Teresa Dawn "Terri" Atherton (Dennis); his nieces and nephews, Robin Lakes Gambrel (Boyd) and Rodrick Shane Lakes (Gina); his brother-in-law Dale Lakes; and his grandchildren, Derek Kelley (Brittany) and Ashley Baker (Justin).
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home (328 W Main St, Richmond, KY 40475). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
