He was predeceased by: his parents, John Combs and Martha Combs; and his siblings, Gladys, Dan, Sid, Bill and Hugh.
He is survived by: his wife Coetta; his children, Jennifer Pipes (Hunter) and Frank (Barbara); and his grandchildren, Carden Short (John), Franklin Combs, Harrison Combs (Jessica) and Kyle Bennett Combs.
