He was predeceased by: his father William Valentine Ridley; his former wife Josephine C. Ridley; and his son Lawrence "Larry" Ridley. He is survived by: his daughters, Linda McPhearson (John) of Richmond, KY and Julie Hensley (Larry) of Richmond, KY; his granddaughter Rebecca Shaw (Tyler) of LaGrange, KY; and his stepchildren, Debbie Taylor (David) and Bill Willoughby (Pat).
