He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Dean and Katherine W. Whitaker; and his son Hunter Ryan Whitaker. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Cobb Whitaker; his children, Harry Dean "Hardy" Whitaker III and Heather Jo Anderkin (Wayne); his grandchildren, Rylen Dean Whitaker, Joseph Creighton Whitaker, Leif Allen Whitaker, Adyson Paige Anderkin, Mason Wayne Anderkin and Darby Ramone Whitaker; and his sisters, Donna Clouse and Joyce Davis (Curtis). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
