He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Adams and Louise Adams; his brother JoJo (Jean Adams); his nephew Ronnie Adams; and his daughter-in-law Shirley Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Jean Boggs Adams; his children, Glenn Leigh Adams II (Mindy) of Carthage, TN and Geri Ellen Rice (Gary) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Emily Hurst (Chris) of Stamping Ground, Eric Rice (Molly) of Lexington and Brett Rice of Louisville; his great grandchildren, Amelia, Betsy Hurst, Henry, Lucy and Alexandra Rice; and his sisters, June Adams of Bardstown and Billie Simpson of Louisville.
