She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Newton and Viola Parker Newton Styer; her husband Paul Smith; and her brothers, Kenneth Styer and Luke Leach.
She is survived by: her daughter Michelle; her son-in-law Johnny Cox, Jr. of Richmond; her sister Debbie; her brother-in-law Doug Watson; her grandchildren, Olivia Frances Sutherland, Conner Lee Sutherland, Glenda Michelle Lopez (David) and Joshua Lee Cox (Rachel); her great grandchildren, Johnny, Mahalee, Jayden, Veronica and Makenna; her aunt Ann Carl; her niece Jennifer Proctor; and her pet Paige.
