He is survived by: his children, George C. Shanks (Cora) and Ellen Davis (Paul) of Richmond; his sister Ellen Wood; his grandchildren, Tommy Wallace, Jessica Stamper (Tyler), Sevana Shanks, Ethan Shanks, Ashley Davis, Joseph Hall (Amanda) and Mason Thomas Shanks; his great grandchildren, Cameron Hall and Abigail Hall; and his sister-in-law Joanne Shanks. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home (328 W Main St, Richmond, KY 40475). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
