He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert White and Dorothy "Dottie" Barryman Alexander; his brothers, Greg White and Jeffery "Red" White; and his son-in-law Zachary Carpenter.
He is survived by: his wife Ina Mae York White; his daughter Erica White of Richmond; his grandchildren, Makenzi Carpenter and Blake Carpenter; his brother Barney; his sister-in-law Brenda Alexander, Jr.; and his sisters, Connie McElroy, Theresa Alexander and Anna White. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces and great nephews and nieces and cousins.
