It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freddie Tackett of Richmond, Kentucky, born in Van Lear, Kentucky, who passed away on March 30, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Tackett and Velma Blanton Tackett; his wife Anna Ward Tackett; and his daughter Pam Tackett. He is survived by: his children, Robert Franklin Tackett, Shonda Tackett and Kathy Adams; and his siblings, Eddie Tackett, Johnny Tackett, Pat Butcher, Cornelia Mullins and Phyllis May. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
