She is survived by: her parents, George Freeman and Annie Padgett Davis; her son James William Grimes Sr.; her grandson James William Grimes Jr.; her great grandchildren, Christian Grimes, Alex Grimes and Heather Stamper; and her great great grandchildren, Marlea and Zelda Stamper.
